Savings Bank Account Holders Alert- SBI Revised the Service Charges- Check Details!!!

SBI Customers Alert!!!- Changes in Service Charges: State Bank of India (SBI) has revised the service charges for its Basic Savings Bank Deposit (BSBD) Accounts. This Additional Value Added Services charges will come into effect from July 1, 2021. These SBI charges the cash withdrawal charges at branches and at ATMs and charges related to Cheque Book, transfer and other non-financial transactions. Now let’s check these details in this page.

Number of Free Cash Withdrawal:

For cash withdrawal, at branches charges will be recovered beyond 4 free cash withdrawal transactions (including at Branch & ATM) and at ATMs charges will be recovered beyond 4 free cash withdrawal transaction (including at ATM &Branch).

Withdrawal Fee:

BSBD (zero balance savings accounts) account holders will have to follow the charges for cash withdrawal as Rs 15 plus GST per cash withdrawal transaction at Branch Channel/ATM.

  • Withdrawal Through SBI ATMs: Rs 15 +GST
  • Withdrawal Through Other Bank’s ATMs: Rs 15 + GST

Cheque Book Charges:

First 10 cheque leaves FREE in a financial year. Thereafter coustomer have to pay Rs. 40/- + GST for 10 leaf cheque Book. For the 25 leaf cheque Book at Rs. 75/- +GST. For the emergency Cheque Book, coustomers have to pay Rs. 50/- + GST for 10 leaves or part thereof. However, Senior Citizen customers are exempted.

Non-Financial Transactions at Branch:

The Non-Financial Transactions at Branch Channel/ATM/CDM/ will be free for BSBD account holders in both SBI and other banks. Transfer Transactions of BSBD account holders will be free for branch and alternate channels. That means there should not be any charges on non-financial transactions by BSBD account holders at SBI and non-SBI bank branches. Stay connected with us for the further updates regarding this.
