PM pays tribute to martyrs 2001 Parliament Attack in India: The 2001 Indian Parliament attack was a terrorist attack take place at the parliament of India in New Delhi, on 13 December in the year 2001. The assassin came from Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) , two Pakistan terrorist organizations. That attack result to the death of six police officials belongs to the state Delhi, two parliament security service officers, and a gardener in total 9 and led to increased tensions between India and Pakistan, resulting in the 2001, 02 India Pakistan standoff.
The 5 terrorists were killed outside the parliament of India during this attack. On 13 December 2001, five terrorists entered the Indian parliament house through a car with Home Ministry and parliament labels. When both the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha had been attended for 40 minutes prior to the incident, many members of parliament and government officials such as Home Minister of that time Mr. LK Advani and Minister of State for defence Harin Pathak were believed to have still been in the building at the time of the attack. More than 100 people were inside the parliament at the time. The gunmen used a duplicate identity sticker on the car which was they drove and thus easily break the security purposes arranged around the parliament. The attackers had AK47 rifles, grenade launchers, pistols and grenades.

The group of men with rifles drove their vehicle into the car of the Indian Vice President of that time Krishan Kant. The president was in the building at the time, the attackers got out, and began shooting. The Vice President’s guards and security officers attack back at the terrorists and they arrived to close the gates of the parliamentary compound.
A similar attack was carried out on the assembly of Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, during November 2001, when 38 people were assassinate by terrorists. The current prime minister of India Mr . Narendra Modi pays tribute to those leaders , officials and public who lead their lives during that 2002 parliament attack. In his twitter page he tweets as “I pay my tributes to all those security personnel who were martyred in the line of duty during the Parliament attack in 2001. Their service to the nation and supreme sacrifice continues to inspire every citizen.”
