CBSE 10th Controversial Question Removed: After receive Oppose the Question was Removed!!! – Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced that the controversial question asked in 10th Term 1 examination is removed. CBSE conducted English examination on Saturday, in that paper one question is placed link promoting Gender inequality. The board also said that Students who are all answered that question will receive the respective given mark for that question.

In CBSE 10th English exam was conducted on 11.12.2021. In that examination a question was placed like promoting Gender Stereotyping and Supporting regressive notions. A question asked in Section A which contains sentences like “emancipation of women destroyed the parent’s authority over the children” and “it was only by accepting her husband’s way that a mother could gain obedience over the younger ones”.

The passage mentioned in CBSE English exam gone viral on Social Medias. People started to use “CBSE insults women” on twitter and show their angry towards such kind of question. Various political leaders were also started to oppose CBSE for promoting Gender inequality in their question papers. After receiving this kind of response CBSE removed the question from that paper.

It was not the first time, earlier this month in Class 12 Sociology paper a question asked to name the party under which the ‘anti-Muslim violence in Gujarat in 2002’ .
