WBPSC Age Limit
Candidate’s age should not exceed maximum age limit of 37 years as on 01.01.2021. Age relaxation will be given for well qualified candidates and for persons holding substantive appointment in the teaching branch or the Education Department, West Bengal.
WBPSC Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should have Second Class Master’s degree or Honours degree in Geography of an Indian University or equivalent.
- Applicant needed to have degree in Teaching or Education or equivalent. Candidates doesn’t have this qualification but can obtain the degree within 3 years from the date of joining can also apply.
- Candidates needed to have teaching experience in English medium in Secondary Schools.
WBPSC Selection Process
Applicants who posses minimum qualification will be called for Interview. If number of applications is high then candidates will get shortlisted for Interview based on the merit list of marks obtained in Screening test.
WBPSC Salary
Selected candidate for the post of Geography Mistress in WBPSC will get paid for Rs. 15600 to Rs. 42000 per month with grade pay of Rs. 5400 per month.
