TN Reopens Schools for Classes 1 to 8 from November 1 – Is it Good time to Start School in the Beginning of 3rd Wave? – Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin announced that physical classes will start again for Classes 1 to 8 from 01.11.2021. This decision has been taken after considering feedback from medical experts, educationists and parents. Already TN Government started physical classes for Class 9 to Class 12. School Education Department is making preliminary arrangement for attending Physical Classes.
Experts say that students from Class 1 to 8 may face stress due to the long gaps in attending physical class. Some of the parents don’t want to send their kids to schools and they also scared that their kids may get infected easily. But most of the parents felt that online classes are not a good way to teach school kids.
Tamil Nadu government confirmed that classes will be held by following the Standard Operating Procedures to prevent virus spread. TN government also said that The Lockdown will be in charge till October 2021. Social, Political and cultural events has been restricted until October 31st. Religious places would closed on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
TN Chief Minister MK Stalin allowed conducting weekly grievance meeting in Collector Office every Monday. They constantly watch the Covid-19 Infection rate. The festival season is also coming so government advised people to avoid crowded places and said that only with appropriate restricts the 3rd wave of Covid-19 would be avoided.
