Permanent Work From Home for Differently Abled Persons – TN Govt Latest Announcement!! The International Day of Persons with Disabilities is being celebrated all over the world today on 3rd December. Likewise in Tamil Nadu, an award ceremony was organized at Kalaivanar Arangam, Chennai to celebrate the Day of Persons with Disabilities by the Government.
Chief Minister MK Stalin, who attended the function, made an important announcement for the differently abled people. Accordingly, the Chief Minister has announced that people with disabilities who go to regular work can now do their work from home. He also said that this announcement will be implemented from January 2023.

Presenting awards at the function, the Chief Minister also said that the pension given to 4,39,315 disabled pensioners will be increased from Rs.1000 to Rs.1500. Apart from this, welfare schemes for the differently abled have also been announced at that meeting.
