With the Class 10 Public Examinations in Telangana set to begin on May 17, the state education minister has ordered the Final Examinations for classes 6 to 8 to be held by May 15.

In the state of Telangana, schools will be reopened for classes 9 and 10 from February 1, following the corona epidemic. Schools close on May 26th. In total there are only 89 working days in this academic year. The Telangana School Education Board had announced on May 23 that the Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSC) for Class 10 students would be held from May 17 to 26.

In this context, Telangana State Education Minister Sabitha Indira Reddy has announced that the Class 10 Public Examination will begin on May 17 and the Final Examinations for the intermediate classes 6 to 8 will end on May 15. He held consultative meetings with district education officials from all 33 districts. He also outlined to them the corona prevention process and maintenance work to be implemented in schools. He also said that the government has taken all measures to prevent the spread of corona. With 14,252 schools set to reopen on Feb. 1, the minister has ordered officials to provide water to all districts under the ‘Bhagirathi Water’ scheme. The Telangana state education minister said he was confident that all classes and examinations would be conducted in a uniform manner.
