• Applicant shall have experience in various forge processes, including presses, hammers, ring rolling and upsetters.
• Candidates who have on job experience in reviewing and approving fixed processes for critical parts, including shot peening, coatings and machining is preferred.
• Applicant should have experience in Heat treatment of aerospace components.
• Candidates who have knowledge in relationship of material, thermal mechanical processes and resultant microstructures to achieve desired mechanical properties.
• Candidates should have Quality and audit skills to access and approve supplier’s capabilities.

Forging Specialist Roles and Responsibilities

• Candidates is responsible for reviewing and approving forge fixed processes for a variety of materials: Ti, Ni, Fe, and Al.
• Role Bearer should interpret modelling output results to approve proposed process.
• Forging Specialist should work with global, multi-functional groups of technical and non-technical personnel to achieve desired outcomes.
• Applicant able to audit processes on shop floor with 25% of travel.
