12,892 companies removed from Registrar of Companies in 2020-21: The registrar of companies in India had lost its 12,892 companies. This is the constant mission of removing name of the companies from the list of registrar of companies. This information is given by the central minister of State Mr. Shri Rao Inderjit Singh the minister of Corporate Affairs.
The central minister of State Mr. Shri Rao Inderjit Singh gives this data by a written reply to the question raised in the house of Rajya Sabna. The union minister Mr. Shri Rao Inderjit Singh also said that, the companies who are all want to get left from this registrar of companies list they are now able to apply for the process of removing their company names.
This is possible under the act of 248(2). The companies can apply at online mode for this name removing process. Non working companies are defined in Explanation in (i) to sec 455(1) of the act, whereby the companies can gather about the details of a dormant company. According to the central minister Mr. Shri Rao Inderjit Singh, “There is no Scheme called Saral Nikas Yojana by the Government”.
