“The commissioner evaluated the plan to re-engage 667 primary teachers after it was approved by the education committee. These teachers’ contracts were set to expire in 2020. The move will help all primary school teachers who were laid off as a result of the corona virus outbreak “Mr. Sharma explained.
Unvaccinated teachers and non-teaching staffers of Delhi government schools will not be allowed to attend school from October 15 and will be considered on leave, according to the Directorate of Education (DoE).
Due to an increase in registration at Delhi government schools this year, the state government has requested school principals to communicate the need for additional classrooms and desks. According to statistics, more than 1.6 lakh kids have transferred from private to government schools in Delhi.
