MH SET Notification 2022: Download SPPU Eligibility, Exam Pattern and Details Here. Maharashtra State Eligibility Test is conducted for the post of Assistant Professor by Savitribai Phule Pune University. The exam is for the position of Assistant Professor for the governments of Maharashtra and Goa. The 38th edition of the MH SET exam process will begin with the release of the official notification containing important information such as the application process, eligibility criteria, exam dates, exam pattern, syllabus and other details. The MH SET exam will be held in offline mode in the exam centres of Maharashtra and Goa states.

MH SET 2022 Notice

The Registrar/Member Secretary of SET said via Notice about Maharashtra State Eligibility Test “Maharashtra State Eligibility Test Unit conducts SET examination on behalf of University Grants Commission, New Delhi, with prior approval of UGC. M-SET Unit accreditation process is inprogress and the upcoming SET examination date will be declared only after accreditation process is completed.”

MH SET 2022 Qualification

• Applicants to the SET have no upper age limit.
• Candidates must have a Master’s degree in a SET-related field that has been recognised by the U.G.C. Candidates in the first year of a two-year master’s programme, the first two semesters of a four-semester master’s programme, or the fourth year of a five-year integrated master’s programme are not eligible to sit this exam.
• The SET can only be taken in the topic of the candidate’s postgraduate degree, such as commerce. According to U.G.C. guidelines, candidates who have finished an M.Sc. (by Research) are not eligible to take the SET. A candidate who has already met the MH SET 2022 Eligibility Criteria in a topic will be unable to take the SET in that subject.

Maharashtra SET 2022 Exam Pattern

• Highlights the overall structure of the exam including the total number of questions, marking scheme, duration of the exam, maximum marks, subjects and is prescribed by the Savitribai Phule Pune University. The MH SET exam is divided into two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2 and the exam pattern of both papers is different.
• The MH SET Paper 1 is general in nature comprising objective multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from Teaching and Research Aptitude. On the other hand, Paper 2 is conducted in 32 subjects. All the questions of both papers are compulsory in nature. Candidates need to appear for both papers in order to be eligible for the award of Assistant Professor.
