MH SET 2022 Notice

The Registrar/Member Secretary of SET said via Notice about Maharashtra State Eligibility Test “Maharashtra State Eligibility Test Unit conducts SET examination on behalf of University Grants Commission, New Delhi, with prior approval of UGC. M-SET Unit accreditation process is inprogress and the upcoming SET examination date will be declared only after accreditation process is completed.”

MH SET Eligibility 2022

There is no maximum age for SET applicants. Candidates must hold a U.G.C. recognized Master’s degree in a field linked to SET. This test is not open to candidates who are enrolled in the first year of a two-year master’s programme, the first two semesters of a four-semester master’s programme, or the fourth year of a five-year integrated master’s programme.

Only the candidate’s postgraduate degree topic, such as commerce, is available for the SET. Candidates who have completed an M.Sc. (by Research) are ineligible to take the SET, under U.G.C. regulations. A candidate is not permitted to take the SET in a topic for which they have already satisfied the MH SET 2022 Eligibility Criteria.

Maharashtra SET 2022 Exam Pattern

There are certain changes introduced in the Maharashtra SET 2022 exam pattern. The total number of papers will be two instead of three. Previously, the exam used to conduct for 350 marks which have been now reduced to 300. The exam will be conducted in offline and candidates need to take both the papers one after another.
