KVS Class 1 Admission 2022: KVS Admission Process 2022-23 of Class 1 has Extended. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan(KVS) has recently made an Announcement to extend the Admission Process of class 1 (2022-23) by 3 Weeks. The Last date for the Class 1 admission 2022-23 is 11-04-2022.the Delhi High Court has given its consent for the date extension made by the KVS Board.
Earlier, the Last date of KVS admission was 21-03-2022. Now the Revised last dates of the admission is 11-04-2022,( as per the source the date is extended by 3 weeks).The Delhi High Court has granted 10 days for the Centre, KVS and Delhi to solve the Age Criteria issues in the class 1 admission 2022-23.
The Petitioner has made on Argument that, the schools governed by Centre is following Same Age Criteria Policy, while KVS is alone following a Different set of policies. They further stated that the Minimum Age Police followed by KVS (in admission process of Class 1) is violating the Indian Constitution, Delhi School Education Act 1973 and Compulsory Education Act 2009 of the government.

The high court has clearly stated not to interfere with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 in this matter and the Same Minimum Age Limit Policy must be followed by the schools under Central government and Delhi government.
