No Exams:
Exams for Class 9 and 11 students in Jharkhand are cancelled. Now the students are promoted without an exam for the academic year 2020-21. Approx 8 lakh students in Jharkhand have been promoted to the next class. Earlier, Jharkhand has promoted all students till Class 8 had already without examinations. Due to covid-19, all the schools are closed in the state. Jharkhand Academic Council has already postponed Board examinations for 10th and 12th.

To break the spread of COVID 19, Jharkhand has cancelled the class 9th and 11th examination and promoted them without exams for the academic year 2020-21. According to some trustful reports, approximately 8 lakh students in Jharkhand have been passed and promoted to the next class without examinations. In which approx 4.5 lakh students in class 9th 3.5 lakh students in class 11thclass.
According to the notice issued by Director Harsh Mangla, academic session for classes 9 and 11 were finished on 31st March 2021. The decision was made by the officials after 02 months wait.
Official Statement:
Jharkhand Secondary Education Director, Harsh Mangla, on Thursday, May 27, announced that exams for class 9th and 11th have been cancelled. He stated that, “Promotion of students of classes 9th and 11th are necessary as because if they are not promoted at the right time for next class their future syllabus and study can be harmed. In the current situation, it is not possible to conduct exams or to open a school for at least two months from now mentions” But still we have to wait about the class 12 exams.
