Amid the growing COVID-19 pandemic concern, the Andhra Pradesh government has postponed the SSC or class 10 board exams 2021. Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education (BIEAP) had released admit cards for Intermediate Public Exams (AP Inter hall tickets) on Thursday, April 29, at the official website- bie.ap.gov.in. Following the release, many students and parents had demanded to cancel or postpone the exams in view of the COVID-19 spread. The board exam was scheduled to held from June 7, 2021.

The AP government reduced the syllabus of SSC for the year 2020-21 and conducted classes till April second week. Usually, SSC examinations were conducted every year with 11 papers. But the board reduced them to 7 papers for this year.
