Is Govt. Plans To Implement Biometric Attendance Again?? Check The Order Issued By Central Government: The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions and the Department of Personnel & Training have issued an order which states to implement the Aadhar Enable Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) for marking the attendance for all central government employees in various departments/ministries/organizations.

The central government has paused this attendance system due to the Covid issues and announced that this suspension of marking attendance over AEBAS will continue till 15.02.2022 and ordered to resume AEBAS from February 16, 2022. But many of the department has not resumed their biometric attendance system till now, so the government has ordered them to do this immediately.
The notice also instructed the departments/ministries to periodically monitor the entry time of employees to ensure punctuality. The habitual late attendance and early leaving of office should be viewed seriously and essentially discouraged and action against the same should be taken without any concern states notice.
