  • July 2 – World UFO (unidentified flying objects) World UFO Day is dedicated to the existence of unidentified flying objects. First celebrated in 2001, it was created by the World UFO Day Organization.
  • World Sports Journalists Day is celebrated on July 2 every year to honour the services of sports journalists towards the promotion of sports.
