In that awareness program Commanding and Recruiting Officer of Indian Air Force Boves Palli explained the qualifications, selection process and benefits of joining Indian Air Force as Airmen. He encourages students to apply for Airmen post in IAF and mentioned that students in the age group of 17 to 21 years can only apply for Airmen post.

He also explained the Indian Air Force written test pattern, syllabus and details about Physical Test. The Airmen selection process contains written test, Physical Test followed by Medical Examination.
