IIT Kharagpur- Organising Unit:

The Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering is an exam which evaluates mainly the full knowledge of various subjects in engineering and science for Master’s programmes and public sector jobs. The Indian Technology Institute (IIT) Kharagpur is conducting the Graduate Aptitude Test in 2022. After successful completion of GATE 2021, IIT Bombay handed over responsibility for organizing GATE 2022 to IIT Kharagpur.

Official Statement:

In the GATE 2022, Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering and Geomatics Engineering have been added as two new papers. This was confirmed by the ministry of education through the social media platform Twitter. The ministry announced that “Two new papers have been added to Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022, which are Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, and Geomatics Engineering. Two New Papers:

In the coming year, aspirants can take the Graduate Aptitude Test (GATE 2022) for two more papers. The decision was taken at a meeting of the NCB-GATE on Saturday. The decision was taken. The GATE 2021 organisation institutes delivered their official duties at the IIT-Bombay board meeting to IIT-Kharagpur in 2022 for a postgraduate engineering entry test. Prof. Deepankar Choudhury, organising chairman of GATE 2021 told to the media that the two new papers will be Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Geomatics Engineering.

Last Year:

In total, 14,196 students were enrolled for a newly introduced field of sciences, according to IIT-Bombay. GATE opened its doors last year to students from the fields of humanities and business. IIT-Bombay launched two papers last year – Humanities and Environmental Science in GATE. Now, GATE 2022 will have 29 new papers.
