Google Photo is Not Free More: This unlimited free storage offered by Google Photos ends this month. From this June, customers should pay for a subscription to Google One to store their photos and videos above 15 GB. Let’s check the details of this news in this page.

Google Photo Service:

Google Photos is a photo sharing and storage service developed by Google. It was announced in May 2015 and spun off from Google+. Since that, there are so many consumers using this service worldwide. The service provided by Goggle is free. Google Photos stores unlimited photos and videos up to 16 megapixels and 1080p resolution respectively.

Features of Google Photos:

Google Photos is a photo and video syncing and backup service. You can sync photos and videos from your phone and/or computer, view them in a timeline organized by date, sort them into albums. Any pictures uploaded to Google Photos are private and can be accessed by others only if they are shared.  Google Photos mobile app requires an Internet connection to access the photos available only online. Once the consumer uploads their photos in the Google photos, they can access it in any device they logged in.

Google One:

Google One is a subscription service developed by Google that offers expanded cloud storage and is intended for the consumer market. Microsoft One Drive offers three times as much as Google Drive’s storage space for the same price; Google Drive protects both files in-transit and those at rest with its cutting-edge encryption algorithms. Google Drive is a storage service. Google One is a subscription plan that gives you more storage to use across Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos.

Have to Pay:

Now the Google make an announcement, which state that, consumers can upload their photos and videos for 15 GB for free from June 1, 2021. To use above 15 GB consumers should pay for it. Consumers should buy Google One subscription. For 10TB, the Google One subscription will cost Rs 3,250 per month.
