Upper age limit given to apply for this recruitment is 30 years. Age relaxation will be given as per Government Norms. Candidates should have completed BE or B.Tech in ECE or EEE or CS or IT or Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 60% of marks. Candidates needed to have 1 year of post qualification experience with 6 months on Industrial experience to apply for this post.

ECIL Selection Process
- Initially a merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in BE or B Tech and work experience.
- 80% of marks will be given based on aggregate marks scored in BE/ B Tech.
- 20% of marks will be given for work experience.
- Marks given or work experience is distributed as 5 Marks for minimum given work experience and 2.50 marks will added for every additional 06 months of experience up to a max of 20 marks.
- If 2 candidates get same mark in above mentioned criteria then 12th mark followed by 10th mark and Date of birth will be considered.
- In the ratio of 1:2 candidates will get shortlisted based on merit list and called for Document Verification at New Delhi zonal Office.
- Selected candidates list of DV date will be announced on official website shortly.
