DYFI Puducherry Demands for the Reservation of Private Jobs. Puducherry Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) makes a demand for the reservation of jobs in private sector in the Union Territory Puducherry. `The organization also needed a minimum monthly salary of Rs 21,000 as well as the safety precautions for the Women employees in the office or job location.
Bhaskar, unit president DYFI Puducherry said that, “DYFI demands reservation in private sector jobs as government sector jobs are scarce ever since the advent of the Narendra Modi government at the centre and the downtrodden, backward classes and scheduled castes and tribes are marginalised. Hence we demand reservation in private sector jobs so that at least a few people are provided jobs.”

2.5 lakh youngsters had already registered themselves in the employment exchange in the Union Territory and the unemployment rate in Puducherry was 47 per cent and is on the rise, these details are revealed by the DYFI leader. Over 68 lakh workers had lost their job due to the demonetization and Covid-19 pandemic. So the organization makes these demands.
