Retired Assistant Director or equivalent rank officer from DoT or any other central/state Govt. department or Retired Sr. SDE/DET/DGM or equivalent rank officer from BSNL/ MTNL/ ITI/TCIL/ Any other PSU. The candidates should not exceed 64 years of age as of the last date of application. A selection panel shall be constituted for this purpose and it will be valid for a period of 6 months. The decision of the department in the matter of selection of consultants shall be final and binding.

The Remuneration and allowances payable will be as per Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance OM No.: 03-25/2020-E-IIIA, dated: 09/12/2020, and subsequent orders issued by DoT HQ in this regard from time to time.
