The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has issued a job announcement for the position of General Manager (Rolling Stock) with only one opening. The application deadline is January 22, 2022. As per the notification, CMRL maintains the right to reduces, or raise the number of openings at any time without prior notification or explanation. Candidates must hold a B.E. / B. Tech (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical) degree from an AICTE / UGC-approved Institute / University. Possessing a postgraduate degree is a plus.
Applicants must be in the SAG grade and have at least 20 years of experience in the execution and maintenance of Rolling Stock projects. Candidates must be under the age of 55. (For deserving individuals, the age limit will be reduced). The deputationist is entitled to the same remuneration as the parent organization’s employees. Furthermore, a deputation allowance and a project allowance of 10% of Basic Pay will be paid. Option to receive salary and benefits from the parent organisation or to get a CMRL equivalent cadre IDA pay scale with 20% IDA, HRA, and Cafeteria Allowances. The selection will be based on the Deputation basis.
