Students request:
The Bihar Board of School Education had planned to hold Board examinations for Class XII from February 1 to 13 and Class XII from February 17 to 24. Curriculum for the Board exam has been reduced in a few states as all schools have been closed for almost 10 months due to the Corona curfew. But in the state of Bihar, students have been ordered to study the full syllabus.
Thus Bihar school students are demanding the state government to postpone the Board exam where the corona spread is still high in Patna without reducing the syllabus and even conducting online classes.
Education officials are ready to conduct the exams on the scheduled dates. “Only one student will be allowed on a bench to observe the social gap during the examination. Thus the number of examination centers is to be increased and the Examination Board has decided to increase the number of optional questions in all subjects to reduce the difficulty of the students in the examination,” an Examination Board official said.
