Andhra Pradesh Board Class 10th and Intermediate exams to be held announced by AP Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh: Despite rising covid-19 cases in the state, the Andhra Pradesh government has decided to hold the class X and intermediate exams. “The exams for Class 10th and Intermediate will be conducted as per the schedule,” said Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh,” ” The Andhra Pradesh Education Department has released a schedule for the conduct of 10th grade exams in June and Intermediate exams in May,” he added.
Meanwhile, the CBSE’s class 10 board exams have been cancelled, and the CBSE’s class 12 board exams have been postponed, and various state governments, including Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan, have suspended class 10 and 12 exams. On Wednesday, Andhra Pradesh recorded 18 COVID-19 deaths, the most in a single day since October 27, despite 4,157 new cases of the virus being reported in the state. In the 24 hours ending at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, 1,606 corona virus patients in the state had recovered, according to a health department bulletin, while the number of active cases rose to a near six-month high of 28,383.
If the number of cases increases in the coming weeks, the government will consider cancelling the exams. “Those educational institutions that do not meet the guidelines will face severe consequences,” the Minister said. Chief Minister YS Jagan Reddy will convene a meeting to review the situation and discuss it. The AP Education Department has released exam schedules for class 10 in May 2021.

Exam schedules for class 10 in June 2021 have been issued by the AP Education Department.
The East Godavari district experienced a surge in incidents, logging 617 in 24 hours, the highest in the state, while Srikakulam, which was also on the lower end of the scale, added 522. The total number of cases in Srikakulam has surpassed 49,000. In a single day, Chittoor district registered 517 new incidents, Guntur 434, Visakhapatnam 417, Kurnool 386, Anantapuramu 297, SPS Nellore 276 and Prakasam 230. Anantapuramus is a species included in the Anantapuramus genus.
