Wildlife Institute of India Eligibility Criteria 2020:

Essential Qualification:

Developer – B. Tech/ M. Sc/ M. Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology (IT)/ Geo informatics or equivalent streams with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University.

Senior Project Associate (Ecology) – Master’s degree in wildlife sciences/ Life Sciences / Forestry/ Environmental Sciences/ Statistics/ Zoology/ Botany/ Agriculture or related fields.

Project Associate-I (Ecology) – Masters’ Degree in Wildlife Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Life Science/ Agriculture/ Environmental Sciences or related fields from a recognized University.

Project Associate-I (GIS) – Masters’ Degree in Geo informatics/ Geography/ Geology/ Computer Applications or related fields from a recognized University.

Experience:

Developer – Candidate(s) should have a minimum of one-year demonstrated experience in working with Geo Server, REST API, JavaScript Frameworks (Node.js, Vue.js, Angular JS etc.) and JavaScript libraries (Open Layers, Leaflet etc.).

Senior Project Associate (Ecology) – Demonstrated experience/ aptitude in a) spatial analysis and ecological modeling, b) statistical analysis, c) project design.

Project Associate-I (Ecology) – Candidate(s) with prior experience in bioacoustics, abundance estimation using camera trapping and distance sampling.

Project Associate-I (GIS) – Demonstrated experience/ aptitude in a) spatial analysis and ecological modeling, b) management of spatial database, Remote Sensing and GIS analysis.

Age Limit:

Candidates do not Exceeding 35 years to 50 years of age.

Wildlife Institute of India Salary 2020:

• Developer – Rs. 49,000 + 16% HRA.
• Senior Project Associate (Ecology) – Rs. 42,000 + 16% HRA
• Project Associate-I (Ecology) – Rs. 31,000 + 16% HRA
• Project Associate-I (GIS) – Rs. 31,000 + 16% HRA
• Project Associate-II (Ecology) – Rs. 35,000 + 16% HRA
• Project Associate-II (Ecology) – 35,000 + 16% HRA
• Technical Assistant (Genetics) – 20,000 + 16% HRA

Wildlife Institute of India Selection Process 2020:

The shortlisted candidates will be notified (through email and website notification) for an online personal interview by 14th Jan. 2021. The interview will be held on 21st Jan. 2021 from 1000 hrs onwards. The selection will be made based on the online personal interview scheduled on 21st Jan. 2021.
