West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has invited the online applications from eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Professor for various subjects to fill 48 vacancies. WBPSC Asst Professor Age Limit:

The applicants should not be more than the age of 36 years as on January 1, 2021.

WBPSC Eligibility Details:

• For Engineering and Technology subjects, the candidates should hold a B.E/B.Tech and M.E/M.Tech degree in relevant branch with 1st class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech.
• For MCA, the applicants should hold a degree in B.E/B.Tech and M.E/M.Tech in relevant branch with 1st class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. More details in the notification.

WBPSC Asst Professor Recruitment 2021 Pay Scale:

Candidates will get the Pay Matrix Level-10 Rs. 15,600/- to 39,100/- Plus AGP Rs. 6,000/-

WBPSC Recruitment 2021 Selection Process:

• The shortlisted applicants to be called for the interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of either higher qualification /higher marks/ grade obtained or on the basis of a Preliminary Screening Test (PST). Refer official notification for more details.
• Date of Examination/Interview will be notified later in the Commission’s website at https://wbpsc.gov.in

Application fee:

• Candidates will pay the application fee is Rs. 210/-(Rupees two hundred ten) only.
• No exemption of fee is available to S.C./S.T. Candidates Of Other States. No claim for refund of the fee will be entertained nor will it be held in reserve for any other examination.
