Big Scam Found in Teacher’s Recruitment? Hired in Illegal Manner at the State of West Bengal!! On the other hand, some recruitment is also taking place through illegal ways. In that way, the scam has been found in the recruitment of teaching posts conducted in the state of West Bengal. Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Deputy Inspector General and Chairman Ashwin Senvi said that 21,000 candidates were illegally recruited and more than 9,000 optical mark recognition (OMR) sheets were tampered with in West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) units.

In this regard, he told the Calcutta High Court that there is evidence of corruption in teacher recruitment, from the main recruitment committee to the waiting list. He also said that the investigation related to corruption, which has been going on since 2021, will get end soon.
