Walmart to Hire 40,000 Employees – Seasonal Plan!! Walmart, America’s largest private sector company, is reportedly looking to hire about 40,000 seasonal workers. This amount is reported to be lower than the last year 2021. Last year the company said it would create 150,000 jobs. But this number has been halved.

Many of the new jobs are permanent, said Walmart. Meanwhile, in the coming months, Walmart is reportedly planning to offer overtime to employees who want to work more. After that, it is expected that the new comers will be hired. Walmart said it expected the company’s sales to rise in dollar terms in the third and fourth quarters, but profit would be driven somewhat.

Meanwhile, United Parcel Service Inc. company said earlier this month it plans to create 100,000 seasonal jobs. Walmart is also expected to be followed by other U.S. companies in the coming weeks to release their seasonal hiring plans.
