Vodafone Plans to Slash 11,000 Jobs!!! Crisis In The Company: A British multinational telecommunication company, Vodafone group headquartered in Newbury, Berkshire, England has planned to cut 11,000 jobs in the next three years. This is announced by the company’s new CEO Mrs. Margherita Della Valle on Tuesday.
She also states that the company’s performance is not good and she plans to set the priorities for customers, simplicity, and growth. This announced job cut is the biggest one in the company’s history. The company will also focus to cut the complexity to regain competitiveness said Della Valle.
This planning of job cuts is due to the slow-paced movement in the company’s profit and this layoff would impact employees across the world. Recently the company is underperforming at Germany and Spain locations, which is causing major slow movement among the competitors.
