As of 29.07.2021, the age restriction for Assistant Director is 35 years, for Principal Nautical Surveyor is 50 years, for Junior Technical Officer is 30 years, for should be maximum 50 years, and for Ship Surveyor is 45 years.
Assistant Director: M.Sc. in Agricultural Chemistry or M.Sc. in Chemistry with a specialization in Organic Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry from a recognized university or institution is required. Nautical Surveyor: The candidate must have a Certificate of Competency as a Master of a Foreign Going Ship issued by the Indian government.
Junior Technical Officer: Bachelor of Technology (Oil Technology) or Bachelor of Engineering (Oil Technology) from a recognized university or institute is required for this position. Candidate must possess a Master’s Degree from a recognized university or institute. A candidate for ship surveyor should have a degree in naval architecture from a reputable university.
Written tests and interviews are used to shortlist candidates. Only qualifying candidates will be notified of the date of the interview and written exam. Candidates must pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty-five) only, either in cash or by using the SBI’s net banking facility or by using a visa/master credit/debit card. There is no fee for candidates from any community who are SC/ST/PWD/Women.
