The Central Board of Secondary Education, the council for Indian School Certificate Examinations, UP Board and also the further educational boards of the state Uttar Pradesh advised the schools across the state to charge fees as like as the 2019-20 academic year.
Additional Chief Secretary of Secondary Education Mr. Aradhana Shukla said that, CBSE, ICSE, and UP board affiliated schools across the Uttar Pradesh will not be allowed to hike the fees for the 2022-23 academic years for students.

Additionally she said, the schools of the state will only be allowed to charge fees as like as the academic year 2019-20. The state government has ordered the closure of all the schools until the January month, 16th 2022, and the online classes will continue as before, this is due to the covid pandemic. the increasing COVID and Omicron cases leads to the Lucknow closure of the university campus and affiliated colleges until January 16.
