Centrally Sponsored Educational Schemes for improvement of Higher Education in India!! The great responsibility of a state and central government is that the creation of new educational organizations. , Recognizing the need for union government support by tactically financing the State Higher Educational Institutions, a union government Sponsored policy of Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) is launched by union Ministry of Education with the goal of promoting access, equity and quality.  In order to be eligible for financing under RUSA, States have to fulfill certain prerequisites, which include the academic, administrative and governance reforms.  State governments are responsible to undertake tactic thinking and planning keeping future essentials of the higher education in mind.

 The policy have a goal to progress the quality of State Universities and colleges and enhance their exist capacities. They become dynamic, demand-driven, quality conscious, efficient and forward looking and responsive to rapid economic and technological developments occurring at the local, State, national and international grades.  Rashtriya Uchchattar Shiksha Abhiyan commonly called as RUSA is a holistic scheme of development for higher education in India initiated in 2013 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The centrally sponsored scheme aims at providing strategic funding to higher educational institutions throughout the country. RUSA aims to provide equal development to all higher institutions and rectify weaknesses in the higher education system. Its target achievement is to raise the gross enrolment ratio to 32% by the end of XII Plan in 2017.
