UNICEF Recruitment 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification

Candidate should have an advanced university degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, Social Sciences or related fields is required, Alternatively, a first level university degree in a relevant field combined with 10 years of professional experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

Required Experience

• Eight years progressively responsible professional work experience in fundraising, marketing, sponsorship, or business to business sales, including work with businesses to create, large-scale partnerships.
• Knowledge of current theories and practices in fundraising, marketing and sponsorship highly desirable.
• Proven experience of identifying, developing and securing a new business pipeline, including successfully securing new corporate partnerships at a US$ 7-figure per year and above funding value is desirable.
• Experience of directly influencing, senior decision makers in companies and deep knowledge of the Business and International Development sector in India is highly valuable.

• Working with the Head of Corporate Partnerships to spearhead the development of a new corporate partnerships strategy to capitalise on the halo effect of our sector leading partnership with John Lewis and Waitrose. The role will identify and secure new corporate partners to significantly increase income, voice and reach to enable Home-Start UK to support more struggling families.
• In addition, the role will deliver first class account management and stewardship for our existing portfolio of corporate partners to maximise their potential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve competencies through continuous professional development.
• Work collaboratively with staff across Home-Start UK and with local Home-Starts as appropriate, in accordance with the Home- Start Agreement.
• Work effectively and efficiently to administration, communication, health and safety protocols and policies to ensure that organisational systems and procedures are implemented.
• Abide by organisational policies, codes of conduct and practice as described in the Staff Handbook and on the Home –Start Intranet.
• Support and promote diversity and equality of opportunity in the workplace.
• Treat with confidentiality any personal, private or sensitive information about individual organisations and or schemes or staff etc.
• Carry out other associated duties as may arise, develop or be assigned in line with the broad remit of the post
• Be prepared to travel to clients and Central Office in Leicester to meet the needs of the business.
