Induction of the twelfth schedule in the constitution through 74th Constitutional amendment has brought various urban activities and services such as urban planning including town planning, regulation of land use, planning for economic and social development, safeguarding the interests of weaker sections of society, providing civic amenities, promotion of cultural, education and aesthetic aspects etc. within the purview of urban local bodies.

UDHD Jharkhand Recruitment 2021 Eligibility Criteria:
- The Maximum Age limit for applying above mentioned post is 50 years.
- The Educational qualification for State Mission Manager (Social Mobilisation & Institution Development) post is Management/ MBA in relevant field with 5 years of post qualification experience (Or) Masters in any other relevant discipline with 5 years of post qualification experience (Or) Graduate from government recognized institutes with 8 years of post qualification experience in social Development work with poverty reduction programmes.
- The Educational qualification for City Mission Manager Social Development & Infrastructure post is Two year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management/ MBA in relevant field with 3 years of post qualification experience. (Or) Masters in any other relevant discipline with 3 years of post qualification experience (Or) Graduate from government recognized institutes with 6 years of post qualification experience in implementation of skill training and placement programmes.
- The Educational qualification for City Mission Manager Skills & livelihoods post is Two year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management/ MBA in relevant field with 3 years of post qualification experience. (Or) Masters in any other relevant discipline with 3 years of post qualification experience (Or) Graduate from government recognized institutes with 6 years of post qualification experience in implementation of skill training and placement programmes.
- The Educational qualification for City Mission Manager Financial Inclusion & Micro Enterprises post is Two year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management/ MBA in relevant field with 3 years of post qualification experience. (Or) Masters in any other relevant discipline with 3 years of post qualification experience (Or) Graduate from government recognized institutes with 6 years of post qualification experience in dealing with credit linkages, social security and/or micro enterprises promotion in poverty reduction programmes/ financial institutions
- The Educational qualification for Community Organiser (CO) post is Intermediate (10+2) in any discipline. Candidates should have at least 5 years of post qualification experience in working with community on social development.

- The Salary for State Mission Manager post is Rs. 65,000/- to Rs.75,000/-
- The Salary for City Mission Manager post is Rs. 50,000/- to Rs. 60,000/-
- The Salary for Community Organiser (CO) post is Rs. 13,000/-
