Two Supermoons Will Occur In August 2023: Rare Celestial Event Won’t Happen Again Till 2037: The August month of this year is ready to witness the rare celestial event after 2018, if it is missed to watch this year, then you have to wait 14 years i.e., 2037.

The celestial bodies are all set to perform two Supermoons in August, the term ‘Supermoon’ is usually used to describe a two full moon in a month of calendar. This has enhanced the brightness and intense visibility of the moon, astronomers use this event to study the topography of the moon and about the carters on the moon.

The first of this supermoon will rise on 01.08.2023 (Tuesday) at just 3,57,530 KM away from Earth and the second one will be raised on 30.08.2023 (Wednesday), this is even closer than the previous at just 3,57,344 KM away from earth.

The supermoon creates a visual spectacle because the moon does not orbit the Earth in a perfect circle; it is slightly elliptical, so it comes closer to the Earth due to its elliptical orbit, if full moon or no-moon day is synced with this event then the apparent size of the moon is anticipated that 14% larger and 30% brighter than the regular full moon.

According to an Italian Astronomer Mr. Gianlica Masi, this phenomenon will only happen again after 14 years, and Astrophiles across the world are ready to mark this visual celestial spectacle through their eyes by using telescopes and binoculars. The first supermoon of this year occurred in July and the fourth and final one will occur in September month.
