Top IT company Rends Freshers Salary by 50 Percent: IT sectors in India have emerged in a futuristic way by developing their Tech and work environment but due to some administrative and economic reasons many IT companies are performing layoffs and implementing some unusual policies.
Wipro one of the top Multinational IT Company in India providing consultancy and business services has recently cuts freshers salary by 50 percent. Wipro gave a word to pay an annual salary of 6.5 lacks to freshers but now the company has planned to give only 3.5 lacks per annum. This cut is almost 50% of the previously announced pay scale. Because of this news, the freshers who are waiting to onboard in Wipro got frustrated.
Regarding this issue, Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES) has condemned Wipro and states that an “Unjust and Goes against the principle of fairness and transparency”. The fresher candidates are almost waited 12 months to on-board in Wipro but now the company is demanding to pay half of the package. The company also states that the candidates who are accepting the new salary will be placed in March. This unusual and unethical decision by Wipro has made the IT candidates to lose their trust in the company.
