At the same time, colleges in the Pudukottai district have also been declared a holiday today. Similarly, an order has been issued to give holidays to schools in the Ramanathapuram district considering heavy rain.
The Chief Education Officer has directed the headmasters to follow this order in all government and private schools in the district. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has informed that Madurai, Sivagangai, Virudhunagar, and other districts will experience heavy rain due to atmospheric circulation in Tamil Nadu.
