Tamil Nadu: Important Announcement to the Principal of Tamil Nadu Schools!!! The Chief Education Officer has sent a circular to all headmasters instructing them not to allow students and youngsters to congregate and play on school grounds.
Due to the spread of corona, schools in Tamil Nadu have been closed for the past year. Holidays are provided for the benefit of students. Schools also give books, and students are encouraged to study at home. Educational tv is also used to deliver class-specific teachings. On school campuses in villages, it has been claimed that boys play together.
Corona overgrowth may result. Boys are less inclined to adhere to social boundaries, making infection more easily spread. The headmasters have been directed by the Principal Education Officer not to allow students to enter or play on school grounds during the curfew. He further claimed that during the Collector’s Office inspection, it was discovered that the boys were playing together on the school grounds.
No one should be able to access the schools if the entrance gate is maintained closed. It should be written on the notice board that you are not permitted to attend or play at the school. When students or people congregate on the school site, volunteers should be assigned to deliver information. In a circular to the headmasters, the Kallakurichi District Primary Education Official stated that they should notify the police station or the local administration officer and remove them. He further stated that the unnecessary gathering on school grounds is the responsibility of the head teacher.
