TN Higher Education Department has Postponed B.E Counselling for Public Sector – Minister Ponmudi’s announcement!!! Tamil Nadu School and Higher Education Department has started new classes for almost all the courses for this academic year. But still the counselling for engineering courses has not started yet. Earlier the Tamil Nadu Higher Education Department decided to conduct engineering counselling considering the result of the NEET examination conducted for medical entrance courses in this year.
Accordingly, it was announced that the engineering counselling will begin on the 25th of this month. However, the higher education minister Ponmudi has announced that the general section counselling for engineering course which start tomorrow has been postponed. This counselling has been postponed due to the delay in the release of NEET results, he added. Meanwhile, the counselling for the engineering course has started on 20th August across the state.

Accordingly, till August 23 the counselling was held for ex-servicemen, differently-abled and sportspersons in the 7.5 percent quota for government school students. Following this, it was announced that a consultation for the general category would be held from tomorrow. Now, the counselling has postponed by the Higher Education Department.
