40000 Vacancies to be filled by TCS for Current Financial Year!!! Other IT Giants Plans to Hire Thousands of Heads. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India’s largest software firm, plans to hire 40,000 individuals in the fiscal year 2022-23, according to the company’s results released on Thursday. Despite the economic downturn caused by the coronavirus epidemic, the IT behemoth hired 40,165 IT workers in 2021.

In FY22, the corporation hired one lakh freshmen from colleges, compared to a target of 40,000. TCS has stated that it has set a similar objective of 40,000 employees for FY23.

TCS stated in a statement announcing its results that the company hired 35,209 workers on a net basis in the quarter ended March 31, the greatest net addition in a quarter ever.

In FY22, the corporation hired one lakh freshmen from colleges, compared to a target of 40,000. TCS has stated that it has set a similar objective of 40,000 employees for FY23.

“We have greatly grown the company’s revenue in accordance with the present plan for 2022,” said Rajesh Gopinathan, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of TCS. TCS has a total workforce of 5,92,125 people.

TCS is now seeking MSc and MA grads from the years 2020, 2021, and 2022 under the TCS Atlas Hiring category. Candidates must pass a test and an interview to be considered. TCS.com is now accepting registrations, which will close on April 20.

Meanwhile, TCS’ digital hiring campaign, in which the tech giant hires freshers from BE, BTech, ME, MTech, MCA, and MSc, is coming to an end today.

Not only TCS, but also top tech companies like Infosys are expecting to employ this year. During a press conference following the announcement of its Q4 earnings on Thursday, software giant Infosys told reporters that had hired 85,000 freshers — both off-campus and on-campus — in the fiscal year ending March 31, 2022. This year, 50,000 freshmen are projected to be hired.

Leading IT firms such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Cognizant, and Capgemini have announced plans to hire thousands of additional people this year, with analysts predicting that the figure might reach 3 lakhs.
