TN Reduced Syllabus 2021-22: For Schools Department of School Education Minister Announced. Department of School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, for state Tamil Nadu announces that the syllabus for the school students to be reduced for this academic year. This decision was taken by considering the less preparation time for the exam.
Due to the Covid-19 infection schools are conducted in the online mode in the state Tamil Nadu. After that, Corona positive cases are getting lowered in the state. Because of that decrease in infection rate the state Government reopening the schools after the Covid lockdown from February 1, 2022 for the classes from 1 to 12.

Amid this situation the government recently announced the board exam dates for the students of classes 10, 11 and 12. For class 12 exam will be conducted from May 5 to 28, for class 11 May 9 to 31 and for class 10 from May 6 to 30. The first revision examination was also conducted now follow by that second revision exam is waiting to conduct. So the time period is very low for the exam day. For this reason the Department of School Education planned to reduce the syllabus.
