Anna University had announced the schedule for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2022. As per the schedule, the entrance for MCA and MBA courses to be held on May 14 while the entrance for ME, MTech, MArch and MPlan to be held on May 15.
Higher Education Secretary Karthikeyan has said that all arts and science and engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu will be closed tomorrow. He said a holiday has been announced for students to participate in as the TANCET exam is taking place.
Students aspiring to join MBA, MCA, postgraduate engineering courses at the Anna University departments, government and government-aided colleges can take the test. Last year, around 10,000 students took the test. The admission schedule was delayed due to the court cases regarding 10.5% special reservation to vanniyars.
