Tamil Nadu has started Class 11 Admission 2020 for higher secondary schools from Monday 24th August 2020. The need for a B.Com course every year remains the same. It is difficult to get a B.Com course in colleges in the state this year either. Speaking to TOI, MM Ramalakshmi, Principal of Egmore Presidency Government Girls’ High School, said, “Most students chose the field of commerce on the first day. The number of trials has also increased, and we expect 150-200 admissions this year against 87 last year.
State government schools have decided to provide free books and uniforms to students during admission. The admission process for classes 1, 6, and 9 began on August 17, and for classes 11 and 12 it will begin on August 28 in the state.
Tamil Nadu School Education Minister KA Shenkotayan has asked in a statement that all physical distance and disinfection procedures related to COVID19 be followed during the admission process.
