The government has announced a 3% hike in Dearness Allowance for certain employees in that state.
Every year, each state government will submit its Annual budget for that financial year. For this year the west Bengal government submitted this year’s annual budget in the assembly on Wednesday. The Ministry of State for Finance, Mrs.Chandrima Bhattacharya presented the Rs. 3.39 lakh crore state budgets. In the budget session, many important decisions are made.
WB government is going to increase their DA by 3 percent for all government employees including teachers and pensioners. This is one of the happy news for the state government employees. This decision is made after the state government employees association made a demand to the state election commission that they will not perform the election duty until the DA will be paid.
FM Bhattacharya has also announced some of the important schemes to the state government in the budget session. Upon hearing this news, the government employees are celebrating and eagerly waiting for their commencement. The FM also states that Bengal’s GSDP (Gross State Domestic Product) will project to be 8.4 percentage.
