Assam Govt. Decides To Hike DA by 4%: The Assam state government has planned to hike the Dearness Allowance (DA)/Dearness Relief (DR) for their All India Service (AIS) officers of Assam-Meghalaya cadre under the government of Assam/AIS pensioners/state govt. employees/ State pensioners/family and extraordinary pension holders by 4%. On this hike, The DA will now become 42% from 38%.
This is a piece of happy news for its state government employees and pensioners. This decision has been made in the cabinet meeting and announced by Assam Health Minister Mr.KeshabMahanta after the cabinet meeting on Friday. According to the report, this new hike will be in effect from 01.01.2023. For this, the Assam government has been allotted Rs. 79.57 crores per month.
