Staff Selection Commission has been Dismissed by this State Government: The government set up many statutory bodies to conduct many exams to recruit suitable candidates for the departments. Each state government set up its own public service commission to conduct the recruitment exams for their state. But here, this state government has dissolved its staff selection commission for the below-mentioned reasons.
The Himachal Pradesh state government has dissolved its staff selection commission due to its forgery for leaking the Junior Office Assistant question paper. The SSC was also in suspension for this issue since last year December. The HP Chief Minister Mr.Sukhvinder Singh told that because of this forgery issue we want to dissolve the commission with immediate effect after the Vigilance department has made its report.
Hereafter the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission will take over the ongoing and upcoming exams that are planned to conduct by the HPSSC. The vigilance department enquired and arrested the culprits with evidence in their homes. The vigilance and anti-corruption department has arrested 6 members including a woman who has a posting in HPSSC as Senior Office Assistant, in an inquiry; it is found that she was the main culprit for leaking the question papers.
