Seeding Of Aadhaar has Been Hiked: The Unique Identification Authority of India has encouraged people to link their aadhaar card with their mobile number for a better and more effective transparent transaction. According to the UIDAI report, it seeds 10.97 million aadhaars with mobile numbers in February. This is 93% more when compared to January.
In India, aadhaar has become an essential identification card that every citizen should have. The government has taken many steps to make this aadhaar more authentic by linking it with essential documents. The report states that aadhaar transaction has leaped to 13% which almost cross 226 crores in February month alone.
From this report, we can able to understand that from the month-over-month, the aadhaar seeds have been increasing, which makes UIDAI track our transactions and other aadhaar-linked services. Aadhaar-enabled Payment System (AePS) also started to take a step in the transaction. In February month, more than 26.79 crores e-KYC transactions were carried out
