School Timing Has Been Changed for Classes 6 to 12 Amid Heat Waves: In Madhya Pradesh, the education department has planned to extend the summer vacation for primary students till June 30 and the class timing for 6th to 12th students has been changed due to the severe heat waves across the state. This was announced by state education minister Mr. Inder Singh Parmar through a micro-blogging platform.

The schools for classes 1 to 5 students will reopen on July 1 and the school for classes 6 to 12 will commence on June 20 and will be functioned only for half day. The scorching heat has impacted people across the state with headaches, allergies, sunstrokes, and others.

This applies to all government, private, aided, and non-aided schools. Previously, the state has planned to reopen the schools from June 20 and the decision has been revoked due above-mentioned reasons. The report also states that from July 1 the schools will function normally with a regular schedule.
